Twelve talented buskers will compete against each other weekly to determine who can earn the most money during twelve episodes in twelve different cities. The winner will earn $100,000, the second place finisher $50,000, and the third place finisher $25,000.
The buskers’ personalities will make the show special. The buskers will be underdogs in life but they will have larger than life personalities and be streetwise.
The cities will be popular destinations well known to the audience. The buskers will be chosen from among singers, dancers, mimes, clowns, jugglers, magicians, musicians, card sharks and living statues.
Each episode will be an hour long. The audience will meet the buskers during the first episode and get to know them better each week. The buskers will be shown performing in each city. The audience will share in their successes and failures, triumphs and disappointments.
The end of each episode will show each busker’s collections being totaled during the week and for the season. Then it will be on to the next week’s episode.
The buskers will be together in New York City where the final results are tallied. The winners will be announced amid much fanfare. The buskers will share champagne and give their final thoughts before saying goodbye.
